Genovia Software for PGT labs & IVF centers

AI-powered genetics intelligence for the modern Reproductive Genetics and IVF labs.

Genovia builds a growing suite of AI products for reproductive-genetics labs and fertility centers — automating the work around insurance, the patient relationship, customer service, and result accuracy, so your team spends less time on busywork and more time with patients.

Built around your pain points

We start with what's actually slowing your lab and clinic down

We build alongside PGT labs and IVF centers, so every product comes from a problem someone actually complained about. Here are the six we hear most, and what we do about each one.

Your team loses hours on hold with insurers

CoverCheck reads the insurance card, checks every field against your intake form, and asks the payer directly whether the coverage is active — in seconds. Your staff sees the answer before the cycle starts, instead of finding out through a denial letter weeks later.

Patients call because nobody told them anything

Waiting on results is the hardest part of a cycle. Automatic updates at each step tell patients where things stand and what happens next, so they feel looked after and your front desk stops fielding the same three questions all day.

Checking reports by hand is slow, and things slip through

Reading a report line by line against the work order is tedious, and tired eyes miss things. CrossCheck compares every field on every case in seconds and shows you only the ones that don't match — so a human reviews exceptions, not all 300 rows.

The wrong result reaching the wrong patient

It's the error every lab director loses sleep over. Before anything is signed out, CrossCheck confirms the case number, dates of birth, and embryo list on the report are the same ones on the work order — and stops the report if they aren't.

The same data gets typed in three times

Every re-key is a chance to fat-finger a number. Both products read your existing PDFs, spreadsheets, and card images as they are — no re-typing, no new forms — and connect to the LIMS and EMR you already run through a simple API.

Inspection prep means digging through old email

When an inspector asks how a result was checked in March, you shouldn't have to reconstruct it. Every check we run is stored with the files, the findings, and who approved them — an audit trail you can hand over rather than assemble.

Live today

CrossCheck — catch the error before the report goes out

Our flagship product, and the simplest way to explain it is this: you upload the work order and the result reports, and CrossCheck tells you whether they say the same thing. It handles PGT-A (testing embryos for the right number of chromosomes), PGT-M (testing for a specific inherited condition), and PGT-SR (testing for rearranged chromosomes).

Everything a person would compare by eye, it compares in seconds — then hands back a short list of what doesn't match. Nothing is auto-approved. The lab director still signs out every case; CrossCheck just makes sure nothing reaches that desk with a mismatch hiding in it.

  • Reads your files as they are. Drop in the PDF reports and the Excel work order. No new templates, no re-typing, no data entry.
  • Confirms it's the right patient. Case number, both dates of birth, and initials are matched across every row of the work order.
  • Checks every embryo, chromosome by chromosome. All 22 autosomes plus the sex chromosomes, the interpretation, and the sex call — for each embryo in the case.
  • Notices what's missing. A report with no matching work-order row, or a case with no report at all, gets flagged instead of quietly passing.
  • Points at the exact cell. Every finding cites the page in the PDF and the cell in the spreadsheet, so you can verify it yourself in one click.
  • Keeps the receipts. Amended reports are versioned and diffed, and every check is retained with its findings and sign-off for inspection.

1

Send us the files

Upload the work order and reports in the browser, or have your LIMS post them straight to the API when a batch is ready.

2

We compare everything

Identity, the embryo list, every chromosome call, and each document's internal consistency — usually finished in seconds.

3

You review the exceptions

Cases that match are marked clean. The ones that don't come with the exact page and cell, side by side, so a person can settle it fast.

4

Sign out with a record

Approval, findings, and files are stored together. If an amended report arrives later, you get a diff against the original.

CoverCheck — know the insurance is good before you run the sample

Take a photo of the patient's insurance card. CoverCheck reads it, compares what's printed on the card against what was typed into your intake form, then asks the insurer directly whether that coverage is active right now and what the patient still owes.

What you get back is a plain answer: the coverage is active, or there's a specific problem and here's what it is. A wrong digit in a member ID, a plan that lapsed last month, a policy that doesn't cover fertility — you find out at intake, when someone can still fix it, instead of ninety days later when the denial arrives.

  • Reads the card from a photo. Member ID, insurer, plan, group, and pharmacy routing — each field with a confidence score, so a blurry scan says "check this one" rather than guessing.
  • Asks the insurer, live. A real-time eligibility request (the 270/271 standard) returns coverage status, the plan's active dates, and how much deductible and out-of-pocket the patient has left.
  • Handles fertility carve-outs. When benefits sit with a separate administrator like Progyny or Carrot, we verify through them too — portal, phone, or benefit manager — and record what was said.
  • Re-checks on its own. Coverage changes. We quietly re-verify as the date of service gets closer and tell you if something moved.
  • Says only what it knows. "Verified" means we confirmed the coverage with the payer on a given date. It never means payment is guaranteed, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Photograph the card

At intake, from a phone or scanner. Front and back, however it comes in — we read it as it is.

2

We compare it to intake

Field by field against what your staff entered. Anything that disagrees gets flagged with both values shown.

3

We ask the insurer

A live eligibility check confirms the policy is active and reports what the patient still owes this year.

4

We keep watching

Automatic re-checks run as the service date approaches, so a lapsed plan surfaces before the sample does.

What we do

A second set of eyes, before anything goes out

Your team is careful. The problem isn't care — it's volume, repetition, and the fact that nobody catches everything at 6pm on a Friday. Our software does the checking that a person shouldn't have to do by hand.

A single PGT case can carry hundreds of individual data points — a case number, two dates of birth, a list of embryos, and twenty-four chromosome calls for each one. Comparing all of that against the work order by eye is slow, dull, and exactly the kind of task where a mistake hides.

So we check it, every field, every time, and show you only what disagrees. What we don't do is make the clinical decision. We're not the lab, we don't interpret results, and we never sign anything out. We hand your team a short, specific list — with the page and the cell — and a person takes it from there.

Software checks. People decide. That line doesn't move.

What gets checked on every case

  • Identity — case number, both dates of birth, and patient initials, matched against every row of the work order
  • The embryo list — the same embryos appear in both documents, with none missing and none extra
  • Every embryo — the interpretation, the sex call, and all 22 autosomes plus the sex chromosomes
  • Internal consistency — each document's written interpretation agrees with its own chromosome grid
  • Amendments — when a corrected report arrives, it's versioned and diffed against the one before it
The platform

One platform, a growing suite of products

We build for fertility and genetics only, and we don't ask you to replace anything. Genovia sits alongside the LIMS and EMR you already run, and one account works across every product.

Everything here is also an API

If your LIMS or practice-management system should be doing this automatically, it can. Sign in with your Google Workspace or Microsoft account, create an API key, and send us the files from wherever they already live. Results come back as JSON in the same request — no queues to poll, no files to stage.
